Our commitment as Namibia’s leading alcohol beverages manufacturer sees NBL playing a lead role in reducing alcohol-related harm. This is achieved through education and awareness campaigns that promote the responsible use of alcohol such as our Stay Cool, Enjoy Responsibility Campaign, DRINKiQ training programme and active involvement in various forums such as the Private Sector Road Safety Forum (PSRSF) and Self-Regulating Alcohol Industry Forum (SAIF). Through the PSRSF and other key partners, The #SaveKidsLives campaign with the objective to save children’s lives on roads around the world specially in Namibia collected 14 821 declarations that were handed over to UN representatives in the presence of 13 000 children to support the safe mobility of children. Road safety at school for children remains a concern and challenge and therefore the PSRSF school road safety program focus remains on the implementation of scholar patrols at high risk schools.
Our Stay Cool, Enjoy Responsibility Campaign promotes an awareness and appreciation for “Responsibility”, seeking to change behavior of amongst others, road users. With our road safety partners namely; National Road Safety Council (NRSC), Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA), Namibian Police (NAMPOL) and Roads Authority (RA) - we join efforts in educational and awareness campaigns to remind road users that road safety is the responsibility of all road users.
